Headspring needed to develop a series of case study content for middle-funnel activity around a variety of industries. Prospects would ask sales for material after demos and technical assessments that could be used to elevate Headspring on the consideration list. Each case study would need to be designed from a similar template such that if multiple case studies were to be consumed, then each would have an identical format, making it easier for the reader to know what to expect from each one.
Our solution was to stand out and go a different route than what would have been expected. Typical industry case studies are one-sheet condensed pieces that are vague and have little depth, and harly any quantifiable metrics. We looked at case studies in a variety of industries and were influenced by a case study we saw from LinkedIn. We went with a long-form case study with 12+ pages that read more like an ebook with short, easy-to-read snippets of content, and heavy on graphics and custom illustrations.
