B2B marketing automation platform provider, Pardot, conducted a study where they surveyed over 400 B2B marketers to get a sense of how the purchasing cycle has changed. The primary result was that 78% of B2B buyers start with a Google search, dwarfing Personal Networks and LinkedIn as their initial source.
The study also claims that 70% of those prospective buyers return to search 2-3 more times, and 12% refine their search more than 3 times. So if you’re a B2B business and you think that your prospective customers are not searching Google to find you, think again. Download the study here.
