In a new study this week published by Marketing Profs: “B2B Buyers’ Favorite Content Types and Channels”, data was presented showing the different content preferred by B2B buyers compared to what content that marketers believe might actually be more effective. The data was collected from a survey of more than 6,000 B2B buyers, marketers and salespeople from several different countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The data also shows how majority of buyers use social media to learn more about vendors during the awareness stage throughout the buying process.
