For the world’s leading hand dryer and baby changing station retailer, the e-commerce store is essential. We need the latest features for security, cart abandonment and personalization. That’s why we migrated this site to Shopify Plus.
The Shopify checkout process offers several improvements to get users to convert at higher rates. This results in more conversions and more sales.
Shopify’s fraud detection suite, combined with other powerful apps in the marketplace allowed us to curb fraudulent orders by detecting IP’s and proxies and how close to the card holder address the order was being placed.
Allied has been through several e-commerce builds, with the last on BigCommerce. A descent platform, but lacked the reporting, security and customization we needed to bring this site to a new level.
On Shopify Plus, we immediately implemented their one-page checkout, numerous fraud detection suites and customized the user flow. We implemented a new ratings and review system with Trust Pilot that has direct integration with Shopify, and enhanced our checkout pages.

A local car wash group with 8 locations and intense competition needed a comprehensive SEO strategy to dominate results.
We’re able to get mobile search results by zip code and compare them to competitor results for coveted search terms such as “car wash near me”, and then activate a content and link strategy based on our rankings.
Our event tracking strategy allowed us to show the client which car wash location was being searched for the most, total memberships and passes purchased, clicks on “Get Directions” and so much more.
General Manager Joshua McCooey of Bee Clean Car Washes started with a common problem: “How can we dominate the Google search results page for the top three keywords over our competitors?”
After spending thousands of dollars per month with a local SEO agency with nothing to show for it, he was beginning to lose faith in the digital marketing industry as a whole. Josh knew something had to change, so he began searching for ways he could maximize the number of eyes that find his car wash locations online.
With the first attempt at increasing search engine visibility a failure, Josh decided to give Pear Analytics a chance.

We started with one goal: rank #1 for “used office furniture”. But that parlayed into a much bigger goal once we figured out the cause of why OFL was nowhere to be found, despite their popularity and review count.
OFL has multiple listings on the same Google search results page for the same keyword, effectively giving them significantly higher chances of getting the first click.
Using new local search grid technology, we can pinpoint the part of town where we need to focus our SEO efforts. Search is becoming increasingly localized.
There were several “incumbents” in this space dominating search results for a long time. We also had to compete against Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for attention in the results. We also had to dig through code to find the culprit of why OFL lost their rankings.
Our solutions to sites that have lost rankings are to 1) do a full technical audit of the code, crawl errors and more; 2) review Google Analytics traffic patterns; and 3) Superimpose their results on top of Google’s algorithm changes to see if there is a potential for a penalty. After this, we found the culprit.
